A recent study suggests our preference for coffee or tea may be down to our genes.The team behind the study found that those with a genetic predisposition to perceiving bitterness of caffeine drank more coffee, with the reverse being true for tea drinkers. The study even suggests that genes may play a role in how much alcohol we drink.
